Review: ClearBlue Fertility Monitor

Posted by Administrator on February 7, 2010

Fertility monitors have been around for a long time, helping women locate when they are most fertile and aiding in the process of becoming pregnant. There are many different types of kits that are considered both diagnostic and in the category of fertility monitor, like a predictor kit that is based on the LH level in your urine or Fertile Focus which tests your saliva. The ClearBlue Fertility Monitor, also marketed as ClearPlan, is the first choice of such a device.

What makes ClearBlue fertility monitors different from others, is it can be connected to your PC through a data port and is completely automated.

How does it work?

The ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor works by tracking two reproductive hormones – the luteinizing hormone (lh) and estrogen levels present in urine samples. The monitor will determine how long your cycle will be and when your LH levels spike, and request that you test yourself for about two to three weeks to find out your levels of fertility, which can help you.

A woman is the most fertile when she ovulates each month – at this period, the ovum is released, and you have 24 hours to get it fertilized! It’s absolutely integral to time your sessions of intercourse accurately!

To begin testing with a ClearBlue fertility monitor, urinate directly onto the ClearBlue test stick. Once that’s done, the fertility monitor will perform its duties and classify your fertility that day as high, peak, or low. Pretty cool? I think so! You should attempt to conceive during high or peak days, this improves the chances of success. You will told your average 6 most fertile days. Most women will get 1-5 days of “High Level” readings before arriving at their 2 “Peak Level” days of fertility. The monitor stores up to 6 months of your own personal information, allowing you to learn more about your body’s own fertility patterns. You can use any of this data to create a fertility chart or ovulation calendar right from your own computer.

What make the ClearBlue fertility monitor unique is this: It measure two hormones. Those fertility tests that use saliva only look for estrogen. Urine-based lh testing (OPKs) test for lh. With ClearBlue fertility monitor, however, both of these hormones can be used to make your fertility detection more accurate. The test reads Low, High, or Peak, to make it simple for you to figure out what your current level of fertility.

Some Benefits of ClearBlue Fertility Monitors:

• Removes much of “user interpretation errors” with the “Low, High, Peak” readings.

Disadvantages:

* Unless you take the tests at the same time each day, you might experience inaccurate readings.

There are some downsides to the ClearBlue monitor. To get the most out of your monitor you will need a computer, and keeping to the tight schedule of one test a day can get tiresome. However it does the job so well and the fact it improves your chances substantially of conceiving outweighs any drawbacks. You will forget about all of these issues on the day that you hold your child for the first time.

Summary:

I believe you won’t find a better way to improve your chances of conception than with the ClearBlue fertility monitor. You have such a short time span in which to fertilize the egg that you can not afford to leave it to chance. When you want to have a baby, and need to figure out just how fertile you are at a given time, use the ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor. You will love the accuracy and consistency, as well as the fact that you can use this safe product over and over again – you couldn’t ask for more from a device like this.

Increase Your Fertility Using Natural Herbs – Part Two

Posted by Administrator on February 5, 2010

This is the second part of our three part series discussing how natural herbs can increase your fertility. This three part series focuses on old style and less well known natural substances that have been traditionally used to cure infertility in women having trouble conceiving. Part one focused on increasing your fertility using plants like red clover, partridge berry, liferoot, wild carrot, dried clover blossom, and wild yam. We will examine a number of other plants and traditional recipes in this article.

This spring you may want to see if you can locate a Mitchella in bloom. (These are the plants with the red berries you have seen in the forest during the winter and spring.) Adding picked leaves to a small jar and then adding apple cider viniegar until the jar is filled will make a medical vinegar. The jar must remain in a comfortably warmed or cooled room for 6 weeks before use, this is after wax paper has been placed over the top and a rubber band secures it and it must include the date on it.

I enjoy up to a tablespoonful of the vinegar on my salads or in my beans. The herb liferoot is also known as Senecio aureus begins to bloom with gorgeous gold flowers around my upstate Long Island swamp and also along the roads where the soil is loose and full of nutrients. A powerful drugs lives in all the parts of this wonderful wildflower. As the root has a deadly reputation, I prohibit myself to only using the flowers and leaves, which I crop in bloom, and quickly tincture. (REMOVE) This tincture should be used regularly in the amounts of three to eight drops daily and taken 14 days out of the month, it is used to increase sex drive, help stabilize monthly periods, ease menstrual pain, and help with infertility issues. Senecia Jacobia and Senecio Vulgaris are related herbs that can also be used.

While this is the end of part two, you will find more information in part three. Part three of this series will tell you about herbal contraceptives that should be avoided when trying to conceive.
